Additional Comments
Do not, do not, DO NOT take this teacher if at all possible. He does not know how to teach. He will be talking about something and be three slides behind. The textbook isn't chronological (seriously, what kind of textbook isn't chronological?) and instead of teaching chronologically he decides to follow the order of the books. He gives you fact after fact at a fast pace, not fast enough to get it down, and most of the stuff he says ISN'T on the powerpoint, and the little stuff that is by the time he gets to that slide he's talking about something completely different. He's a nice person. But he's a crappy teacher. Yes, he will tell you what the essays are going to be over if you ask before the test, but it's not worth the headache. Do yourself a major favor and take a different section, especially since the only section he teaches is 3 hours once a week at night. He teaches in a monotone. And he requires attendance. So most of us end up paying attention to anything but him because it's too hard to keep up. I'm usually an A student. I had a 3.98 in high school, and before this class I had a 3.65 at western. Take another teacher. You'll be happier if you do.
