Additional Comments
Dr. Thacker is one of the best teachers I have ever had. Yes his class is difficult. However, if you show up every day, take good notes, and go to the study sessions, you pretty much have it made. In the study sessions, he gives you a GOOD idea of what is going to be on the test. His tests are essay format, but you answer something like 2/5 essay questions. The short essay needs to be roughly 1.5-2 pages while the long essay is 2.5 or longer. If you do not want to put forth an effort, don't expect a good grade out of this class. He is a little fast-paced for notes, but the best thing for his class is to get a voice recorder and then type up your notes. Easiest way to make an A in his class.
