Professor Phelps is very enthusiastic about history and teaching his class. The course is very difficult because there is so much information needing to be learned. His tests consist of 10 multiple choice and matching questions and then 3 essays and 3 ID's. He is very willing to help and he often holds study sessions before each test. Western Civilization is a very hard class, but I would recommend Phelps to teach the class. You have to study hard to expect and A or B.
