I found Dr. Formes very compassionate about students learning, getting their questions answered, and receiving help if they need it. The PASS sessions are great, even if you think you don't need them, they give you a very good idea about what Dr. Formes is looking for on tests. One book is largely used for the essay tests, the other for background reading. There are 3 tests, and the final is partially cumulative. Students may feel overwhelmed at first, but you learn a lot and don't have to work extremely hard to get a high grade. She is by far, one of the best history professors at WKU.
