As a history major I loved Dietle, he is very knowledgeable about what he teaches. However his class is very hard, there is a lot of reading and a lot of outside work. In order to pass and receive a good grade in class it is required that you read everything, as much of the info will be used in some form or fashion, whether it be on a test, a worksheet, or a discussion board. Although Dietle might seem like he doesn't care about his students he will work with you however much you need to help you get a better grade in the class.
