Additional Comments |
Professor Phillips is interesting. He'll come off as being mean and senile at first, but after a few classes you'll appreciate his humor. Attendance isn't required, but it's really the only way to pass because he purely lectures and doesn't use any type of over-head or powerpoint as visuals. At most, he might write a few key words on the board. The tests are all essay (dept. requirement) and he grades pretty hard. If you're just looking for an easy A in a gen. ed. course, don't take him. If you actually want to learn some history, he's your man.
