History sucks, but Nathan Phelps is a good at what he does. He makes it somewhat interesting, even though I hated the class. His notes are difficult to take, but with any history class, plan on reading the book. Very helpful outside of class. Get to know him. Him knowing your face is a positive thing. Project on a topic in 20th century end of semester is big points, not hard, but plan in advance.
