William Carey University / M / James McKay

As with all of Mr. McKay's classes, you need to show up for class, take good notes, relax, and enjoy the time spent with an instructor who has a sense of humor. I have 5 more weeks left in this class, but this has been the most pleasant of the business classes that I have taken so far.

I have 5 more weeks in this class, but I can tell you that any class taught by Mr. McKay will be down-to-earth and based on real world conditions. Mr. McKay's sense of humor makes the class bearable. This is true of all his classes that I've had in the past. I do not particularly like business classes but I have kept coming back for Mr. McKay's classes. There is a group project and presentation associated with this class so be prepared for that. I recommend getting a textbook for all his classes, but it is possible to get by without one.

There are alot of definitions in this class. I had 9 pages of notes that had to be memorized for this past exam. Mr. McKay is an excellent teacher in my opinion because he incorporates real world conditions into his lessons. You will need the textbook for this class or be an extremely fast writer. Mr. McKay does a test review for every exam in all of his classes......extremely helpful!!! Attendance is vital to success in Mr. McKay's classes as there are alot of questions on his exams that can only be known by having been in class or having someone take notes for you.
