Ms Phelps was hard but I learned a lot in her class. She let us turn in our papers multiple times and gave two chances at extra credit just for visiting the Writing Center.

Professor Phelps considered the essays I submitted useless and inaccurate when I have rewritten them several times. She marked up my essays with red ink so much that I could not identify what I had written. I know I have improved and I even had other english majors review my essays. They provided more feedback than she ever gave me. Which is what a professor is supposed to do "help the students."
