Dr. Lara is very nice and she cares deeply about the profession of Student Affairs, which means that she expects the best from her students. This class was a weekend class over the course of 3 weeks and there was a lot of work for just 3 weekends. There is one group project which is a pretty big part of the grade (and can be hard if your group does not work well together), one paper, and 5 journal article reviews. The class is all day on saturday but she has fun activites and guest speakers to help past the time.

Nice person, very applications-centered style. Grades hard, but fair, tons of papers and projects, but no tests.
