Dr. Walker was a nice young lady, but is just gaining experience. I did not find her approachable as a teacher on those times I tried, which was was frustrating. I also did not feel that what was expected of us was communicated very clearly, and there were times that what was communicated I did not believe was upheld. It was frustrating, as well, to feel that my dedication and hard work in the assignments were not taken into consideration with my grades. At first I was very discouraged because I did not receive positive reinforcement when I was told what was lacking, and was frustrated confused. The handful of positive reinforcements I received were essential because they were uncommon but necessary. I did not feel that she taught the class well either. She pretty much only quoted the book. I like Dr. Walker as a person, and perhaps as she gains experience, she will become a good teacher as well.
