Western Kentucky University / D / Nancy Dawson

Professor Dawnson really knows what she is talking about but sometimes comes across as just being random. Trust her. She also has a photographic memory... she knows when you are missing. I really like her and I think everyone yellow, black, white should take this course.

this was an online clas and I ended up doing well it it, but boy, it took alot of time. Main problem was she only gave a very small window for taking tests, quizzes, etc (maybe an hour?) so if you were working it was a problem. She was a bit unreasonable about that kind of stuff, but it was a vcery interesting class- be prepared to write.

This course was overall an easy course as long as you go to the class and participate. the tests aren't too difficult but she is a hard person to approach. it is an okay class with a lot of debating.

Dr. Dawson is a good teacher, but she can be quite strange. I really think that she wants students to understand about black history and wants to provide the students with more knowledge. In her class there was a huge project at the end of the semester which was a large percent of the grade. I did a lot over the course of the semester. Just so your warned, she is not the most approachable person and rarely replies to e-mails. Overall she is okay!

This class was very interesting and helps open up your perspective on people. There were four tests which were easy if you go to class. There was also a race inventory, and a group project. Nancy is open to all opinions and is very cultured, she travels alot and overall it was a good classt o take for general education!
