Very boring class, like many english classes. At the beginning there is alot of reading but you get through that part soon. Kemp will keep you to the absolute last second of the class and sometimes over. The classes are very long. He is very fair grading wise. As long as you show up and do your work you should recieve an A. And he lets you turn in work as late as you want. The tests are simple and he gives you every answer before the test. No studying is involved, just reading and writing.

Mr. Kemp is an interesting professor, the beginning of the semester is OVERKILL with reading and writing assignments...then the semester levels off and is pretty easy. The course is located in Russellville, at LCHS...I recommend Mr. Kemp for this course.

He is a very kind man who does not want to worry students with homework for a class that many people take just to get a few hours out of the way. He is the superintendent at Logan County, so he is busy as well. Get past the short story section and the class will not be a burden at all. I strongly suggest taking Mr. Kemp if you were to take English 200. God bless you.

If you can get through the first half of the semester it is a breeze. There is ALOT of reading at first. You have to get used to his dry wit too. I did not agree with all his values, but he is a wonderful teacher. Lots of flexibility with attendance and assignment due dates. The test are EASY. This is a good class.

This course required a LOT of reading and writing papers, but Mr. Kemp made it simple. If you came to class, you knew what was going to be on the tests. Anyone could do well in his class as long as you read and do the assignments. Mr. Kemp isn't a traditional WKU professor, however. He teaches this course at Logan County High School in Russellville. If you need this course, the drive to Russellville once a week is definately well worth your time!
