Lindsay is very, very knowledgeable about ceramics and has a very good teaching style; she is very in depth with instructions and is very patient and helpful. She grades tough and expects a lot, but your overall course grade is reflective of your effort as well as your improvement. There are a lot of assignments, but in order to get a good survey of ceramics you need them all. Stressful class in terms of workload, but the subject in general is very fun and interesting.

This class had the potential to be an amazing class, but the professor was not very good. She would hand out project assignments that seemed relatively easy, but she was impossible to please. She was also unprofessional and talked down to people. If you can take 2-D with someone else, do it.
