This was one of the best classes I've taken at Western. If you're interested in SCUBA, I would definitely recommend it. John is a very laid back instructor. We spent some days in the classroom and some days in the pool. Also, the "tests" are very easy. Basically you watch a video, follow along in the book and then take a 10 question quiz at the end. The "final exam" was definitely easy. Most of the material is common sense and requires little to no study time. Basically if you show up to the class and do what you're supposed to do, you'll get an A. And you'll actually enjoy the class too! :)
