This class was SO easy! Mr. Leake is very laid back and easy going. The lectures in his class were usually very boring. He gives study guides for the tests which can be quite helpful. I would definitely recommend him if you want an easy A.

Mr. Leake is a really easy teacher, but kind of boring. The tests are not hard at all. Just know definitions.

Jeff is cute in his own awkward way. He is a really nervous person. The tests take about 3 hours to prepare for, and take 10 minutes to complete. Attendance is mandatory but he doesnt roll call, he just puts up a sign in sheet. If you are looking for an easy A. Take Leake.

I never went to this class. I only showed up to get the study guide (but i didnt even have to do that, he e-mailed it to us) and to take the tests. I made a B in the class with ease. He is such an easy teacher and the class is so easy that i forgot i even was enrolled in it. Take this teacher!

This is a very easy class. As long as you study the study guides he gives you for the test, the tests are easy. He puts everything from the tests on the guides, so as long as you have the book you don't really need to come to class. At first he takes attendance but after a while he quits. The last two tests he ran out of time for us and had to cram them into one test the week before finals and so it kind of sucked because it wasn't easy like the others so watch that. You must have the book though or you can't look up the definitions, etc for the test. He does give extra credit assignments.

Jeff is a good teacher. Let me just tell you that his class is very very very borning though. All you do is go in and take notes. He reads then straight from the power point. Another thing that is good is, you really don't need to go to class. He only takes role for the first 2 or 3 weeks and then after that he does not take it anymore. He will send an email study guide to class and it tells you everything that you need to know. All of the tests are multiple choice and then for extra credit if puts a power point on and you write down which artists goes with which picture. The final is really easy. It is the same questions from the other test. It is word for word. Just study all the old test and you will pass the final. I would take this class, but just be worned it is very borning.

This class if for you if you don't mind boring lectures but an easy class. He gives you a review sheet for the test that has a list of everything that will be on the test. There are several extra credit projects throughout the semester, if you do them all, you basically make enough points to cover a test grade. If you need an easy A I would take this class.

As far as getting into a class that is easy as pie and requires 0 attendance....take Leake.
BE WARNED it is VERY boring. His notes are all art photos with some notes on the sidebar.
The tests are EXACTLY what is on the study guide. Make sure to fill in the study guide, memorize it, which will take a whole hour, and get an A on the tests.
The midterm paper sucks, but it's easy.
He's a little sketchy to talk to, but he's a pretty cool guy. He also offers quite a bit of extra credit, which is rare when it comes to college teachers.
Overall, it was OK.

Mr. Leake is by far the easiest teacher I've ever had. DO NOT take this class if you want to learn something. I learned nothing and got an A. I know that I skipped class more than I attended. He never takes attendance, studders, and his lectures ramble where you can hardly take notes. Study exactly what's on the review he emails to you, and you'll ace every test. Tests are a cinch, by the way. My 4th grade sister could pass them. His class is a joke. Very easy A

Jeff Leake is a very laid back guy. He mainly just shows works of art to the class and discusses the different elements used. On Fridays he usually shows a video. And he almost always lets class out early. He gives everyone a study guide before each test. If you look up the definitions for the terms in the study guide, then you should do just fine on the tests. The midterm is a 3-page paper and he gives you the assignment a few weeks ahead of time so you can have plenty of time to get it done. I would recommend this class because it's very easy and there's never any homework.

this class was not bad. as with any art, you have to put time and effort into the projects, but as long as you do put in some time and effort, you should be fine. plus he gives you all the time you need in class. homework is minimal. leake is pretty cool, he knows a lot about drawing and if you are having trouble with something he will elaborate and explain things to you as much as you need in order to understand the assignments. plus he plays music like the violent femmes and the pogues in class, which is pretty cool for a teacher.

Mr. Leake is pretty cool, his class is fun, and he's very laid back. He's very understanding when it comes to absences. He gives a very detailed study guide, so if you study the study guide-you've got it made!! It's important you buy the book, because with out it, you won't be able to study the definitions.

Jeff Leake.....ahh what to say about him. Well, there is a group on facebook called "I heart Jeff Leake". He's a cute guy. Anyway, his lectures are kinda random and its hard to focus. BUT he has some cool projects you do. I was worried because art is definately not my thing, but if you at least attempt the projects, you get credit for them. No reason to take good notes, the study guides are EXACTLY what you need to study for the tests and all the info can be found in the book (its pretty much just mult. choice definitions). There is a "midterm" paper but its only 3 pages long and super easy. I definately suggest this class, however, get a couple of friends to take it with you!!

Jeff is really cool. He can sometimes have a few issues with communicating, but you get the general idea of what he's trying to say. The class is really easy, and gives you a lot of opportunity to enhance your drawing skill. This class is good for anyone w/ no background in drawing who wants to learn.

Jeff is a good guy but, he is kind of quiet the first half of the semester. After he got to know us, he openned up a little bit and we found out he has a pretty good sense of humor. He helps you out, doesn't degrade your work, and he only looks for progress and improvement. If you are putting in your best effort you will get an A. Also, in class we listen to music while we draw and the setting is very laid back. For the class, we are required to keep a large sketch pad and we draw something different usually every class but, if you are not there, you can make it up. There is a midterm project which you spend a few classes working on and there is a final project that is treated the same as the midterm. The only problem he has is that he is a short spoken man; he has a hard time saying what he wants to but, he communicates pretty well when he works with you one on one. You dont have to worry about any lectures in this class. Overall, I most definately suggest Leake for Drawing.

He is a great teacher. He is always willing to help you. Sometimes he haves trouble getting out what he wants to say but he usually does get it out. He will not critique your work as good bad he looks for improvment he understands not everyone haves artistic abalities and he just helps you to improve. You will be surprised yourself even the ones who start with no drawing ability end up having some understanding when you finish this class. He will encourage you to do better not push you but inspire you to. He is laid back and easy going, he is a nice guy. I recommend taking him.

Jeff is pretty cool. He's laid back and knows that art is not meant to be just a certain way. He never critizes your art, he only asks if you think you could add something, or maybe work out an area that could be better. He plays his punk music in class while you paint, creating a laid back setting. You do have daily projects, but if your good at playing catch up then you don't have to be there everyday. Also, there ia a midterm, and final project that can take about a week to two weeks sometimes, but they are usually pretty easy to complete. If you want somebody cool who won't critize your work, I'd take Jeff. :)
