BEST CLASS I HAVE EVER TAKEN AT WKU!!!! If you need an honors class and want an AWESOME teacher, take this course! We NEVER met on fridays and i never bought the book and i got an A. The first thing he said when you came to class is "come to class, talk, you get an A." its that simple. NO notes, NO tests. Just pure fun :)) seriously.

Let me put it like this...if EVERY professor at WKU was like him...WE'D ALL PASS WITH FLYING COLORS!!!! This class is SO easy!! There's no reason anyone should receive less than an A in this class! Dr.V is VERY sweet, and this class is not stressful at all!!! You get to make a cheat sheet for EVERY test INCLUDING the final!!! I'm telling you, this class is the way to go!!! Dr.V is GREAT!!!! =D

BEST CLASS IVE EVER TAKEN AT WKU. I took honors social workand it was awesome! Dr. V is really laid back and most of the class is discussion based. It is def. worth taking! Plus, he is one of the nices teachers and pretty funny!

We walked into the class on the first day and Dr. V told us that we would automatically recieve an A in the course. The class consisted of seven girls and that was it. We came in every tuesday and thursday and we would discuss the reading or a topic chosen by Dr. V. Even though we didnt have any grades or real assignments, I learned more from his class than I did in any other. If you have the opportunity to take his class, do!

Dr. V is WONDERFUL. On the first day of class, he will tell you not to worry about your grade -- no matter what, you have an A. There are no tests, quizzes, or homework. The class is entirely discussion -- read the chapter, come to class, tell him how you feel about the issues. He is very respectful and overall is a wonderful guy. His approach to learning is incredibly different but effective -- I found myself studying for his class instead of others, when I didn't even have to! You will take a trip to the local Social Services location (which is a lot of fun). Dr. V is incredibly knowledgeable. My one warning is this: Don't take this class if you are undeclared, otherwise you will come out wanting to do social work!!!
