I took ENG 200 on the web for the may term summer session with Mrs. Hall. This course was offered through the community college, but counts as the same ENG 200 credit as main campus. I took this class online because I am currently expecting, and I think I would rather take it online anyway! It was very easy compared to what I thought it would be, since the class was only 3 weeks long. The first week was fiction, which involved 6 stories, 3 of which we were quizzed on and 3 of which we had to post discussion board posts on. The second week was poetry, with 6 poems, 3 for quizzes and 3 for discussion board. The final week was drama, and it involved reading only one play, with two quizzes and four discussion board posts. The final was comprehensive and covered everything we had done, but since the class was so short, it was easy because you still remember everything, plus she gives feedback on every unit to print off and study! She was very very nice and helpful and responded to my e-mails within just an hour or two each time. We did have vocabulary terms to define and study for the quizzes each week, but they were simple and mainly a review from high school. I would definitely recommend taking Mrs. Hall even if you can't take this course in a three week time frame. Excellent professor! I actually enjoyed an english class for once! : )
