I don't think that physics is a hard subject, I had no problem with it in high school. Garvey, however, is just a poor professor, or at least he was in the semester that I had him. He has potential, but his teaching methods are odd and tend to cut corners and you don't seem to understand the concepts after lecture. You learn more from the lab than you do from the class. At least when I had him, his lecture was 3 weeks behind than where we should have been. The only pro about his class is that he curves his tests.
