Ms. Hanson is one of the smartest people you will ever meet. It seems like you can ask her anything and she will have an answer for you -- if she doesn't know it she will take the time to find out and tell you later, no shame in saying " i'm not sure" or "i don't know" She is very thorough in class. She is very patient and you can count on her being available for help -- ALWAYS. It is nice being around her, you don't feel uncomfortable and you get a sense of openness in that you can feel free to ask questions without her making you feel inadequate -- which i think is important because often students don't ask questions because they are afraid of looking "stupid"

she's a great instructor overall.
