David Marquez is an excellent teacher and he's really fun. He does not grade hard but he does not grade easy either. He's very helpful and great at giving good constructive criticism. His projects are a lot of fun and challenging at the same time. Overall, I really enjoy and respect him as a teacher. Attendence is mandatory if you want to receive an A in class because it shows how much effort you put into your work and missing class on a day of a critique is a big NO NO because he docks your grade a letter. One more thing, speak up in class on the critique days, that's part of your participation grade because if you don't say at least one thing, he'll pick on you til you do. ;)

Marquez is a great teacher. He is really understanding!! He gives plenty of extra credit opportunities! Marquez lets everyone before hand whats going to be on the tests. I HIGHLY suggest taking Marquez if you are looking to take Art Appreciation!!
