Mr. Brown was an awesome art teacher! We learned a lot, yet still had a lot of fun. It's a shame this was his last semester teaching because everyone should have the opportunity to experience art through his eyes!

Take this man. You'll get an A in the class. He says he takes attendance but he only does it when he feels like it. I missed about 5 classes and he only had me out for 1. The tests are cake and there's no final. As long as you're there for the tests and do a half-ass job on your project you'll have an A in the class.

Mr. Brown is AWSOME!! Class is boring, unless you enjoy art, but Mr. Brown realizes this class is mandatory for several of us and finds ways to keep your attention and make you laugh. Final is doing any kind of art piece and presenting it. Last 3 weeks of class are only presentations. You can skip, but he takes attendance more then than the entire semester. DO NOT buy the book, you can share if you do need it, it's expensive. Overall one of the best professors I've had at WKU.

Mr. Brown is a really great guy, his class is not that difficult but you learn alot. We had an in class test, we had to read a novel and take a take home test on that, and we were required to do a painting, and write a paper over an art exhibit. Most people do not have to take the final; if you have an A at the end you are excused from it. He cares about people and is a really great guy, I enjoyed going to his class.

fairly easy except the novel we were supposed to read--about 600 pages. plus you have to paint a picture which can suck if you don't have artistic ability.

There is not enough good things that can be said about this man to really express just how great he is. He understands that you have a life and that you don't want, nor need, to be stressing out about art. He is a very funny man who loves his job as well as his studetns. I always enjoyed going to his class and never once skipped it. I never once remember staying a whole class period in class and quite often we would have Fridays off. Mr. Brown is the BEST! It's a shame we don't have more teachers like him on campus. He's kind of like the Morrie (you know, the book) of Art.

There is a special place in heaven waiting for this man. A great kind person who cares about his students. Plus the class is fun and very very easy. The only class at WKU that I've ever looked forward to going to. If you dont get an A in this class, then I dont know how the heck you accomplished it.

No need to go into detail about this wonderful professor. As you can see from his ratings if you don't take this teacher then I hope its because it was full. And if it is wait until its open before you sign up with someone else.

This is one of the easiest classes i have taken so far. Mr. Brown is a great teacher. He makes the class fun and interesting, plus he cancelled class all the time. Take him.

This guy is the MAN! Not only do you not have to be there everyday. The tests were either open book or take home! How sweet is that?!?! You do have to do 3 projects and go see some art exhibits and write about them. The projects consist of drawing a picture of anything, making a colorwheel, and painting a picture. You do have to go view some art exhibits around town. But this is easy compared to say a comprehensive final of microbiology. take my advice. take Brown.

Dr. Brown is the easiest professor I have ever had. He cancels class all the time. Every one of his tests were take home. There is no final because he feels that finals are a waste of time. There are 3 prjects you have to do. Attendance is only necessary for the first few weeks and after that he may not show up either. So take him. The class is easy, the work is easy, and he gives you an A no matter what!

Mr Brown is awesome. He just wants people to appreciate art as much as he does. So he will give you all the chances in the world to get an A in his class. Attendence is somewhat manditory. He takes attendence when he wants to and more than 3 misses loses points. He grades the one paper he assigns very easy and will give you the answers to his tests (all take home) if you ask.

This class was so easy all you have to do is go to class. We took in class tests where we used our books and take home tests. All you have to do is a drawing and a painting and a small 2 page paper. Never hardley listened in class. No Final!! Hard to fail.

this class was easy as pie. there was like two test and one was take home the other was open book. we had to do 2 art pieces and believe me the untalented could do it. even though he didn't require much, i did learn some new things and really enjoyed the class. mr. brown is such a sweet, funny guy. i really recommend him!

This was the easiest class I had all semester. To get an A, just bring yourself to class (conscious) and turn stuff in eventually. He is extremely lenient if you turn stuff in late or you don't come to class a few times. Mr. Brown makes the class fun (when we actually had class). The tests were take-home or open book and there was no final. This is a good class to take to fulfill gen ed and nearly impossible to not get an A in!

Mr. Brown was a wonderful person to take for Art 100. He understands that we are only in the class for a gen. ed. reqirement and does not force the material on us. Instead of making us learn specifics of the course, he wanted us to develope a love of art. He had two test, one take home and the other open book along with two art projects and a paper. Don't worry about the art projects. As long as you try your hardest he'll give you a good grade. He is a wonderful person. He would be the only professor I would take for this course.

Brown was an awesome professor...I truly learned a lot, but he did not make it harder than it needed to be. He explains things very well and makes art interesting. I learned a lot more than I ever thought I would. He is very understanding and at times quite funny. You can tell he cares about teachings, as well as caring about his students. You do have to complete a painting, but just try your best...he really just wants you to "appreciate" the hard work artists do. A MUST TAKE!!!!!

The first test was take home, the second was an in class test, and then we had to do a drawing and painting. But it was my easiest class, he likes to pick on you, and he's very flexible. I would recommend him to anybody!!

mr. brown is awsome! he understands art isn't everyone's major, so he caters to all his students. Test are open book, but it actually teaches you more b/c you want to look the answers up. He gives all kinds of different assignments (drawing, painting) but doesn't judge you harshly b/c not everyone is talented in art. TAKE HIM!

This course was absolutely fabulous. He is a wonderful teacher and very personable. He is quite funny and is always making jokes. He is a good teacher. He will let you out early for class just about every meeting, that is if you even have class. His first test was a take home test which was quite easy. As long as you show your face at class a few times, then you should get an "A". The materials covered aren't that difficult, all it is is memorization and you go over the stuff so much in class that you actually learn it quite easily.

Mr. Brown was EASY. CAKE I'm telling ya. I hardly ever went to class, received over a 100 on my test average, and the best part was that he let us have a take-home final that was simple. He gave it to us a month in advance and told us the asnwers in class, literally told us the answers. He's great and understands that we are just trying to fill a gen-ed requirement. A MUST TAKE!!!

This was one of the best classes that I have ever taken. Mr. Brown is such a wonderful teacher and a very nice man. He understands that most of us were in there just for our gen ed requirement and didn't make us learn and memorize a lot of stuff. You have two tests, one paper, and an art project to do, which was fun. If you have a good grade in the class you don't have to take the final, which there is no reason that you shouldn't get an A or at the lowest a B. Also an 88 and up is considered an A. Take this teacher he was great!!!!
