This class is just ok. The good news is if you do the work and come to class you should get a B or better, there are no tests, speeches, and no exam. Brent is pretty laid back everyday we had coffee and he would let students play music. I did learn some new techniques and I used many unknown mediums. Our class also has a chance to win $100 because Brent got our pieces into a small museum.
The Bad news is the 1st two weeks you have to draw 30 12x12" drawings and there are really no guidelines. I got a low B and fully expected a mid A. In class you always are required to draw big, which I didn't like. Also Brent can be biased sometimes and we did not see eye to eye. Sometimes the majority of the class would like a drawing and he wouldn't, which isn't a big deal until he starts grading you like that.
Botton line - Class was chill, Brents an alright guy, and I got an A.

Brent is new and he has awesome projects. He always has great ideas to help you get inspired. Be warned, he expects a lot. Our first assignment was to do a 30 drawing series in 2 weeks. Very cool guy, easy to talk to. I recommend his classes.
