Ms Jessie is an absolutely amazing teacher. She loves what she does and she cares very much about her students and how they do in the class. It is a lecture class, so be prepared to take notes, but they are very good notes, as she explains what she does for problems on the board. She is also very good at explaining things on the class's level, and if you don't understand something, she will go back and explain it differently until you DO understand it. There is a test over each chapter, and homework for each section of the chapters as well (each chapter has 2-3 sections, with a few having 3-5). All of your homework is online as well, and you are not required to have a book. Be SURE to do the chapter reviews online as they count as extra points because they aren't required! Also, on the test, don't EVER leave anything blank. Write SOMETHING even if its "I don't know" "I don't remember how to do this" "My teacher is awesome" etc. Attendance is mandatory, it is taken each class meeting, however I believe you are allowed to miss up to 6, but if you miss more than that, you are required to drop the class. I learned a lot from Ms Jessie, and recommend her to ANYONE taking Math 096!
