Volunteer State Community College / S / Richard Shriver

This class was horrible!!! I took Dr. Shriver's night class in the summer before transfering to WKU in order to get some of my general ed's out of the way. Dr. Shriver is the most opinionated man I have ever met. He was a Methodist minister, and is NOT open to any other denomentations. Even if you speak up ( and you have to talk in his class, it's a part of your grade,) and bring another point of view into the conversation YOU are WRONG!! (DON"T forget it!!!) The class was a constant arguement and a huge hassel. Once he even told me that I didn't know what I was talking about because I was young and stupid!!! (NO JOKE!!!) The one good thing about the class is that you are only required to write one term paper, there are no tests or quizes. DO NOT take this class unless you absolutly have to.
