I am REALLY regretting, that out of all the math/sci/engr classes I've taken, this is the one that I didn't try very hard in. CSE 321 is the first CSE majors' course. Although the workload is relatively light compared to previous CSE courses, I found it very difficult to comprehend. Other CSE majors encourage those taking 321 to take the time to do the extra exercises in the book because it helps a lot for exams. Unfortunately, I didn't heed this advice and that resulted in a disasterous grade (probably the lowest in the entire class of about 60 students).
I kept falling asleep in class, because I found the material rather dull, although Tompa is a funny professor and he tries his best to keep us entertained. He has a habit of running into objects, which he admits. Tompa also has peculiar dressing habits (overly bright T-shirts and tank tops and socks).
