Terry Cluse-Tolar treats students with contempt and is not against using her status for wrongful purposes. She serves as a role model for others in the department. Professors and administrators imitate her behavior by engaging in negative behavior the same way she does. As a teacher, she plays favorites so frequently that students usually become a part of two groups: a large group who don’t like her and two or three students who adore her.
