The material in this class was hard to understand, and since it was Dr. Kovach's first time teaching when I took it, the material wasn't presented very well. I think that she will progress in her methods in time, but do not expect that the material will be easy no matter who teaches the class. She curved our final 20 points and gave plenty of extra credit, so if you work really hard it is possible to make an A.

Dr. Kovach is not a bad teacher by any means, we just have too many notes per test. Once she gets more comfortable with teaching I think the class will not be bad at all. The subject material is not all that hard, but it's just the amount of material that you have to study makes the class hard. If you are willing to spend some time on the material, you'll see it's not too bad.

The subject material of this class is not hard per se, but the class ends up being hard because of the way notes are given. Everything is done on power point, which allows the professor to give way too many notes in too short of a time period. I personally learn much more from taking down notes from the board by hand, as opposed to printing them out off the internet. I really didn't like this class at all, but I think it will get better with time as Dr. Kovach learns better how to present the material in a way that is helpful to her students.
