I thought I wanted to major in Social Science. My so called "intro" to sociology class has been a major dissapointment to say the least. I have made many attempts to try to understand Professor Boyers teachings, unfortuneatly after many attemps to ask for help or extra credit I got nothing but laughed at and turned away. His lecturing from the minute class starts to the minute it ends makes no sense. Many complaints have been made to upper authorities, but unfortuneatly I think Im goin to have to deal with failing a subject I enjoy, since classroom and student interaction is meaningless to this professor.

Prof. Boyer did not provide a good opportunity for students to succeed in his class. He was unavailable for outside help when students need it. Laughed at student for asking for help. This is not professional behavior of a college professor, let alone any teacher. I would strongly discourage anybody from taking this class with Prof. Boyer!
