I took this class last year and I looked forward to showing up everyday. The section I took was a night class and a computer-aided instruction class in one of the computer labs. All you had to do was show up having read the material assigned and add your perspective to the readings. The 'final' is a portfolio of works from througout the semester. He emphasizes peer revisions on all your papers which seems dumb at first but in the end you come away thanking God that he made you do it as it makes your writing improve dramatically. By all means take one of Smith's sections.
