Dr. Beatty made a very dull course very painless. She lectures the entire class but she is very open to any questions her students may have. She even request the paperback versions of the textbooks so that you don't have to spend an arm and a leg on a book you'll never use again. 4 exams and a cumulative final, all multiple choice scantrons. She does an informal review for the exams but she can throw a wrench in the gears on the exams just to make sure that you were paying attention in lecture and taking notes. As long as you take good notes in the class you will be fine.
