Chemistry has always been difficult for me, but I felt this course was exceptionally hard. Dr. Ades was a nice woman, but I didn't come away from her lectures feeling as though I had learned anything. There were plenty of notes to print off the internet before class and she went by them fairly well, but still didn't fully explain questions. I like her as a person, but as a professor, I didn't feel comfortable with her styles of teaching and difficulty to approach outside of class.

Dr. Ades moves through notes too fast to comprehend. She makes things more complicated than they need to be. She assumes a lot. She also does not completely answer questions in class. Also the exam usually has little on it that we actually reviewed in class.
