This class is challenging and might be difficult for those without some musical background. I had none but still managed an A, I worked for it though. Go to class every day and take advantage of extra credit! Plan and go to required and extra credit concerts EARLY. This is not a class to procrastinate in. Not an easy grade but you will learn if motivated.

Personally, i enjoyed this class. But then again, i love music. If you love music like me then it will be interesting to learn about music. Most students honestly, i thought were bored. It's one of those classes where you have to get involved or you get tired. It's more of a music history class than anything. But her test are straight from this study guide thing you have to do. I mean her tests are like the same questions. If you are a good memorizer, love music...i would pick this class and the lady who teaches it is nice. At least she was in our class. She's very passionate about music and sometimes she gets excited and you cant hardly understand her because she is korean but she's usually really easy to understand. Plus, she knows that some people might have a hard time so she says if you ever don't know what she is saying just let her know. So yeah....this class was good!
