Dr. Schwert is AMAZING. He is hilarious and a wonderful professor. I took Organic I and II from him. It took me a while to understand how his style of teaching translated into exams. I improved from a B- first semester to a B+ second semester. Had I not bombed one exam and the ACS second semester I would have had an A. The ACS is DIFFICULT. Schwert is very willing to help you outside of class, he will sit with you until you understand and truly cares about the success of his students. Be sure to visit him frequently. Get to know him; he is a great guy! Practice problems are KEY. Never, ever take an exam without doing at least 1/2 the practice problems corresponding to each chapter.
