The course is tough for new beginners to programming under this professor. She is a spiteful, plays favorites, and like a bully. She hated the sight of me from the moment I walked in. She talks to me harshly or yells at me, mostly threatening me the entire year. She yells at me for mistakes before finding out why I made the mistake. She wasn't interested in helping me, she acted as if I didn't belong in her class.
She is condescending to people who ask questions(myself & many students have pointed out she humiliates students who ask questions which is already hard with the unclear book).
She does not follow the OCC rules(she fails you at 10% absent rate instead of over as the OCC handbook specifies and she counted me not telling letting her know I was late as the absenses to fail me. I took her to the dean with little result).
I felt very uncomfortable in her class. She favored one blonde student whom she allowed to mock me silently.
She is unfair with grades, many many students who study well complained she unfairly graded them. Some of these students have good grade point averages. She nitpicks, heavily. Some student went to a tutor in Brookdale who also admitted this professor is very sneaky with her tests. She nitpicks and looks for reasons to fail. When I made a few mistakes on my program(I'm new to programming) she said, I quote: "It is obvious that you do not know what you are
doing, and are therefore putting random code everyplace."
She obviously pretty much bullies students and takes out problems on them instead of teaching. She's a sick lady. I don't know how it is allowed for OCC to keep her employed. Does she have pension?
