If you are going to take this course do it through someone else. Don't do it through this guy.

The class is not hard however most cis100 classes you dont do so much but with this old bastard you have rediculous homework assignments and he is about 10 yrs past retirementt he sux!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The good: This course is a breeze if you ever seen a computer before and you are willing to deal with a teacher who is five years past his retirement.

The bad: The class is uneven. The first 4 weeks are spent learning how to save files on a floppy disk. The next week you are using powerpoint and excel. You spend a lot of time copying text from a book and he gets cranky if you don't look at him constantly. The worst part is that every other CIS class is a breeze and they do next to nothing in there while those of us who had Haycox were struggling to keep C's.

On a side note, expect homework EVERY DAY.
