Comments
Ms. Martell has no obvious teaching experience in this course. It is supposed to be about Race, Ethnicity, Gender, and Class. She makes it all about her problems growing up and only focuses on the ethnicities that she finds interesting. For future warning: if you are Caucasian, she probably will not like you. Frequently when speaking to Ms. Martell, she would ignore people and just walk away if she wasn't interested or didn't agree. Her class is completely unstructured and she makes up rules for the classroom as she goes along. Don't get me wrong, either, I am a good student, but Ms. Martell is not a good teacher.
