Professor Lynn Navarette, the head of the martian colony at Chaffey. What could be said of a woman who speaks truth to her beliefs, cares for the students and loves Sociology so much? Well as previously noted she is super nice, a total sweetheart. In a way all her classes are like an extended family--we all come from diverse backgrounds but we more or less love eachother and develop some meaningful relationships & friendships. Lynn is sensitive to anyone person, ideology or mindset of their students and will go out of her way to ensure maximum comfort while at the same time drives material home, flying right towards you. Lynn unlike some of her colleagues (ahem.....names will not be released, but those people who themselves). is funny, freespirited, and is a must for anyone whether a student intends on taking a full range of her classes or if it is for a brief stint. Be reminded that her classes are not always easy, but this a class that is not meant to be a stroll in the park, it is a course where people foriegn to sociology have to suspend their beliefs and see the "strange in the familiar" Finals and mid-terms for her Pop Culture or other high division classes are not multiple choice but are essays meant to stimulate the body and the mind. Because of these essays, Lynn has picked up material from her students (this is shocking to some, buts it true). It could be said that the truly education never graduate. Thanks Lynn for an awesome experience. Look foward to Human Sexuality in a week or so.
