This course was wonderful. It wasn't about scholarship, it was all practical. I don't feel called toward pastoral ministry and this course still blessed me. Notes weren't overkill at all, mostly tidbits here and there other than the Adrian Rogers videos (it was too good not to take good notes). You're required to keep a notebook, find articles for yourself for growth and there are several books to read, but it's definitely manageable, as the books aren't scholarly texts, just books from pastors to pastors.
