Great class!! She is definitely tough, but you learn how to write, or if you already know how to write you learn to write better. None of that five-paragraph crap the other teachers still do. This is college level, folks. Really good reading material, too. I almost dropped on the first day because the way she weeds out the lame students looking for an easy class kind of scared me! I'm glad I stuck around. She turned out to be my favorite teacher so far, and I'm a junior.

Ms. Samson is one of the best professors I've had since starting my collegiate adventure. Although some students didn't appreciate her knowledge, I did. All you have to do is read the assignments and do the work. PERIOD! An A is not that easy to earn, but EARN it you must! I recommend her to anyone that wants to learn how to write correctly at the college level.

Wow. Words cannot even describe this class. First of all, it was an awesome class. She makes things fun. She has a great sense of humor and had me laughing every class. She teaches her class very well but she is tough. She doesn't let students run over her which I had no problem with. She will try to scare off any students looking for an easy A the first day. The classes were very easy and we only had to write three essays. She gave us plenty of time to write the essays but the subjects were hard. You won't regret taking this class if you like writing but if you have a hard time writing essays.....STAY AWAY because you will fail. (or get a bad grade)

Ms. Samson was a wonderful teacher with a sense of humor. Many students thought she was tough but she was not if you did your assigned work.. She is passionate about what she teaches and makes you see language in a new light. I encourage anyone to take this class. Ms. Samson is a wonderful woman.
