Additional Comments |
This hybrid class would have been a total bore if not for the instructor. He is very involved in his field and will spend most of class telling very amusing stories, including how he has shut down the Natcher before. The stories and the fact that attendance has a high percentage of your grade are the only part that make the in-class portion worth much though, you just go through slides and it is pretty boring, but like i said he talks through most of the slides so that's good. Make sure to keep up with the dates things are due, the professor opens a lot of the sections at once and they aren't due for a while but don't put them off because he will not turn the portals back on. No point in taking notes in this class, just make sure to keep a sheet of paper around because he takes attendance by mini-quizzes (which you can use your book on and are not graded). Blackboard is not used at all. If I were doing this again I wouldn't buy the textbook honestly, just the code from Evolve (the program you'll use which he will explain the first day), it is a waste of paper and money. But this class is an easy A, and quizlet is always there as an option in the event of an unknown answer - every time. The online quizzes have no time limit, the tests have about two hours and you probably won't use half of it. Conclusion : awesome class with amazing teacher than will be a great GPA booster!
