Additional Comments |
Bio 240 is the introductory biology class for all science majors. The class itself is one of the mroe difficult intro classes in the university in my opinion and requires a lot of time to master the material. Dr Alexander give 4 exams and a cumulative final that are all 50 multiple choice question scantron formatted. Attendance is optional but I feel the biggest reason that I didn't get an A was missing class all the time. Dr. Alexander lectures the entire time while using an overhead prjector for figures and pictures. In stead of taking notes he has course notes ready for purchase at the CopyIT Center in the library that you are required to buy and, quite frankly stupid if you do not since it coveres only what he goes over in lecture and saves you from dragging the heavy expensive textbook to class everyday.
