Additional Comments |
Honestly, the course is easy. Just don't expect to get a lot out of it. The description of the course says that you'll be reading science fiction and using knowledge of psychology to evaluate the validity of it. We never actually really did that except maybe once. Usually discussions revolved around what we thought was cool about the class and if we wanted to live in a world like the one in the book. We didn't have structured discussions involving "is this plausible" like we were expected to, and yet we were expected to write a paper doing just that when we spent almost none of the semester doing it. He will also regularly cut you off while you're talking to say what he want's to say, so be prepared for that. But honestly, if you show up and talk, you'll get a good grade. and you watch movies and TV shows for part of the class.
