Additional Comments |
Dr. Langdon is a nice person, she does try to work with you, but her assignment instructions are extremely extensive. She can be confusing. Even when you talk with her in personal conferences she can sometimes be a bit confusing and overwhelming. Her papers are assigned closely together and that adds a lot of pressure. She tells you at the beginning to start your papers early but then on top of that assigns smaller writing exercises which are due just about every class period. If you intend to take one of her classes because she conducts all of her classes the same way; I have learned. Don't do so with a busy semester ahead! You will regret it. Her class requires a lot of analyzation type answers. You are allowed to give your opinion in discussions, however, creative minds find that their ideas are wrong. Overall, if you are a Literature major you should take her class because it will prepare you for what's ahead, and anyone else should avoid her if they can.
