Ms. Sunkin seems very kind and enthusiastic about the class. However, the work is very overwhelming. There are no class notes or PowerPoints to refer back to. It is somewhat self taught which is difficult to learn correctly when it is not your native language. It is very common to have a Composition, Written Exam, Oral Exam, and Homework all due in one week. She does not respond efficiently to emails. Her exams are very difficult and confusing. The directions are often confusing after translating them from Spanish to English. On the first exam we were given less than a minute to answer each question. If you can avoid this professor, I highly suggest it. Your semester will become consumed with Spanish, if not.
