Additional Comments |
Mrs. Lumsden is a great teacher. She recently came out with a book called Inez. There is no textbook, but three books you must order on your own or get from Barnes and Noble; they are not offered in the bookstore. You must also get a supplement reader from Staples or where ever she places it. There are about 10 essays you will write over the course about readings and the books. She gives "pop" quizzes, but always tells you about them. You are able to drop one assignment, so if you get a low grade or decide not to do one, that is covered. I would have had a B, but I missed a quiz and hadn't done another assignment. Make sure you go on quiz days. She usually does not take any late work, no matter if you were sick or in the hospital or anything. If you are not a bcom or journalism major, then you might get tired of the class after a while. It is all about women in the journalism field. There are no notes, and the final was a presentation over one woman in the journalism field- a power point presentation.
