Additional Comments
If you can take someone else it wouldn't be a bad idea but if you have to take him due to scheduling conflict you'll survive. He is much worse in the beginning of class then he is toward the end of the semester. Attendance isn't mandatory but if you're coming to class you better be there on time and you better not leave early! He's very rude and will tell you to leave his classroom and threaten you that he'll remove you from the class. The homework online with a program called wiley plus (it's pretty straight forward and you have multiple attempts). There isn't true extra credit but he gives extra lead way points on homework, quizzes, and the exams (i.e. there will be a total of 112 points on an exam but you can only make a 100 so you miss some questions and still make a 100). You can't receive anything higher than 100 though. There are pop quizzes that aren't too bad, look for him caring an unusual amount of papers and you can prepare for a quiz. There are 3 exams and a final. He's an okay teach but he does expect a lot from his students. You should do fine as long as you take notes which are just example problems from the book (actual notes are to be printed from blackboard). He does eat hard candy during class and will let it get juicy in his check and then he'll suck it all up making a terrible noise during class.
