I would not advise anyone to take this course with this professor. He is the worse teacher I have ever had at WKU. He goes very fast and is one of those professors who think you should already know it and be a pro at it. He is very rude, and will not answer any questions. If you ask one he rambles about something completley off topic. Be prepared to take pages on top of pages of notes. He writes on the board, his hand writing his horrible and he doesnt even give you time to copy it all before he erases it. When it comes to your test, they are horrible, alot of things on there are questions straight from the back of the book, which a pro would be able to answer easily. He expects you to memorize everything that is involved with the class and if you want to see your test after it has been graded, you have to set up an appt with him and come to his office to look at it. The appts are only open for a week from the day your test grade is put on blackboard. He WILL NOT bring them to class for you to look at. The quizzes are not that bad, but they are all pop quizzes and he does not go over them afterwards. He just gives them back and starts to ramble. Hes extremely negative and will actually tell you that his classes last semester did not pass this or that and doesnt expect anyone in this class to pass either. This makes you not even want to try, he always puts you down. He speak to you like a child and never takes a breath, its constant lecturing. You will always have class, he never cancles class and you have to ask for permission to leave early, or to leave the room. Ex. going to the restroom, getting up to go to the trash can, etc. It states in the syllabus and he does take points off every time you do. All i needed was 2.75 points to get a C in the class, and he wouldnt give it to. Right before the final he said that if we attempted all the homework assignments and came to class on a regular basis he would curve grades, hes a liar. I missed one class the WHOLE semester and got all my points for the homework (you do 80 points worth but he only gives you 40 of those in the end) and he would NOT give me the 2.75 points. He completley ignored my emails asking why and then just gave me the grade. He is horrible and you are literally commiting suicide if you take his class. Be aware.
