Additional Comments
Ross, overall is a nice guy and know's accounting is a difficult subject. He will lend a hand to you when needed and IF you make the effort and ACT like you care.

There are tons of semi-easy quizzes (12 or more) and for the most part their worth 5 points each, but each quiz you can get a possible 6 points out of 5 (so extra credit on each). The quizzes can be difficult, but their not bad if you come to class and pay attention.

Accounting is basically memorizing steps. You'll have to be able to understand the beginning of this course to make it through the rest of the semester. Every part of this class, builds on itself. You'll be constantly asked questions that refer back to previous chapters.

Test, of course, are a little hard. Ross gives a total of THREE test, and then there's a final. But luckily the tests are all multiple choice, and you will need scan trons for this class. The questions WILL make you think, dont fly through it and dont go on your first GUT instinct. Think the questions out and make sure you know your formula's from the lectures. Ross will encourage you to do the problems out of the book, i never did, but i went to class every day and paid attention.

The main thing is, COME TO CLASS, and PAY CLOSE ATTENTION. Attendence isnt a must in there, but i wouldnt recommend missing, since there's always at least one quiz a week, and the day before the quiz he always gives hints as to what the next quiz will be over. There were times i wanted to fall asleep because his voice can be somewhat mono-toned, but he does try to get the students involved, and dont hesitate to ask questions in or out of class, he'll be willing to help, so be willing to try!!
