Additional Comments |
I hated this class. It was hell to sit though. First of all, he loves to talk about his "adventures in broadcasting". It is pure hell to anybody who doesn't love to kiss a** . The only reason that I got an A was because he tecnically couldn't give me anything else...I know how to write. Beware, the non-roadie. If you don't "love love love" broadcasting, then this is not the class for you. I know its required, but good god. Field trips are taken to various places such as 93.3 and Insight. Lots of videos are watched on commercials and the "history of broadcasting". Don't get the book if you have a friend in the class. Some exercises are done out of it, but the majority of class work is assignments that he pulled out of his butt. He grades kind of harshly, but if you can really write, you should get through. Bring a game boy and sit in the back of class. All he talks about is himself and his "lovely" wife as well as his former students (he credits himself for their success) and his connections in the "business". Good luck.
